Sony Network Sharing Camera
Cost: $199.99

What is it? This is a camera built for everyday life; it’s compact enough to take with you, it can shoot up to five hours of web-ready video and it switches to a 5-megapixel digital camera with the push of a button. The built-in software means uploading is easy, and you can transfer your videos to the web right away.

Hottest feature: The ability to shoot video and instantly expose it to an internet audience means any budding filmmaker can share his work right after the take.

SanDisk Sansa TakeTV Video Player
Cost: $99.00 to $149.00

What is it? Finally, you can take video from your computer and see it as it was meant to be seen -- on your TV. Just download the videos to the TakeTV flash drive and plug it into the TakeTV cradle for viewing. That’s it, no wires, cables or complicated hookups, just plug and play with the included remote.

Hottest feature: With the SanDisk Sansa TakeTV Video Player, your computer and your television become a harmonious unit. The ability to easily take video from your computer and watch it on your TV means that there are no more boundaries between these two technologies; leaving video to be seen as it was meant to be.

Pantech Duo
Cost: $199.99

What is it? The Pantech Duo is a Windows Mobile 6 double slider phone that features a 12-key numeric keypad, a QWERTY-style keyboard that slides out of the device, and a 1.3-megapixel camera with 4x zoom. Enjoy e-mail, instant messaging and a full Microsoft Office Mobile package along with music and video at mobile broadband speeds. Lastly, the Duo’s data and voice capabilities allow you to talk and surf the web at the same time.

Hottest feature: The Pantech Duo is a full-service desktop computer fused with a multimedia phone. It’s the best of both worlds; for getting down to business during the week and then enjoying yourself with its entertainment capabilities, like the camera, music player and video player, on the weekends.

Yan na muna dahil wala pa akong pera, pag-iipunan ko yan pag may trabaho nako.

INTRICT ENTRY 4

INTRICT Job Clippings Entry. June 4 08

  • Most IT (Information Technology) companies/ job employers hire applicants with "Java" experience and knowledge of other languages/server applications.
  • ICTM Professionals are also called "Masters of Technology" so they are given more job offers than other courses in my opinion.
  • Computer knowledge + Management skills are taught to the ICTM students hoping that someday, they will be "Masters of Technology".

Some companies/employers would require different non-technical skills depending on the job. If you are just a Java programmer, you won't need communication skills because your responsibility is just to program and not to talk. This applies to other jobs.

I have all the non-technical skills needed but I still need to hone these skills to be qualified.

Of course, computer-related courses are needed to get into these jobs.

INTRICT ENTRY 2

June 02 2008

Thoughts to ponder after the 1st week of sessions in INTRICT

1. Where else I can maximize Google and its applications for my work in INTRICT?

  • Faster and more reliable Search Engine.
  • FREE (yes...FREE. Let me type it one more time.. FREE.) SMS Text Reminder to your phone. Forgot that today is your 98th monthsary or a test in INTRICT? with Google, that's never gonna happen! :D
  • Shared Document Editing with other Google users. Away from your group but you still want to help your classmate with a group work or assignment and sabotage it after? Then use Google! (haha!)
  • Chat purposes. Just like YM. :D
2. What are other online applications out there that similarly support my activities as a student?

  • Yahoo Messenger - File Sending, Announcements, Chat.
  • Multiply - Blogging, Pictures for Assignments.
3. What exactly do I mean about productivity? How is productivity related to technology?

  • You don't just stare at your technology thingy. You make a happy, meaningful and productive relationship with it. Being productive with your technology, you make full use of it; making full use of it means that it's worth the money you spent for.
4. What Can I suggest to my parents to also improve their productivity?

  • Everything I use productively = Yahoo, Google, Multiply and other online applications.
i would if only they want, at this time... they don't want to hang out with technology much so they stick to Yahoo! Mail. Haha.

So, there.
